This screw conveyor is a horizontal groove with a semi-cylindrical bottom fitted with a screw of a certain length. The drive, rotating and transporting part of the screw moves the bulk materials. The bulk material is fed through the trough openings and discharged through the bottom, which is additionally equipped with valves.
The single screw conveyor version is often implemented with a receiving hopper. It is used in many industries for conveying various bulk materials: pellets, sawdust, husks, ashes, grain, dry building materials, etc.
A trough screw conveyor with one screw is capable of dosing and transporting large quantities of the required raw material. The modular design allows easy and quick replacement of the operating elements.
The conveyor is equipped with a service hatch that indicates when the screw is full. The screws are fitted with rotation sensors that signalize an emergency stop. Optional accessories include:
- Gear motor protective hood;
- Remote bearing lubrication system.
The screw conveyor can be customised to any size and design.
